Biology Two Course Details

Biology Two is a second year long Biology Course. It is intended for college bound individuals who would like to challenge themselves. Bio Two deals with introductory college level material in a fast paced environment. Instruction will mirror a first year college Biology course. Labs will be investigative and open ended. Students will be expected to take part in active learning through dissection. Those not wishing to directly dissect specimens will be asked to master the same material using web based information. Each student will complete a quarterly Portfolio.

Biology Two Course Philosophy

The best, brightest and hardest working students I have ever worked with are Biology Two "veterans." Students from this class will go on to do increadible things. The purpose of this course is to challenge this level of student. In response to this, the Biology Two student will develop study skills that they may not have been forced to learn before. These skills will be advantageous in a college setting, putting the Bio Two vet a step ahead of their college competition.
