General Notes:

  1. Both punctuation and spelling must be exact!
  2. Type the words Works Cited, neither underlined nor in quotation marks, centered at the top of the page.
  3. Do not number each entry. Start each entry at the left margin; tab once each subsequent line of an entry.
  4. Double space the entire list.
  5. Do the list in alphabetical order based on the first word of each entry.
  6. The European date system is used. Example: 10 July 1999
  7. Use a three-letter abbreviation for the months, but write out May, June, and July.
  8. Cite what information is available.
  9. Online: Be sure to put the complete URL address if needed.
